Another day and more tests. Today was a blood panel taken in a fastened state at the request of a naturopath. Earlier in the week, Sarah saw the naturopath to help manage side-effects of doxycycline (which was prescribed to manage the MEKinist-induced rash) and learn if there are therapeutic medications that could work in concert with the standard of care Sarah is receiving from Johns Hopkins and Yale. The additional bloodwork baseline will help provide insight into types of care to potentially add. Before adding any naturopathic care that is outside the prescription, we will consult leading doctors since we don’t want any well-intented perscriptions to interfere with the the brain tumor management.

An empty tummy, long wait, and 10 viles of blood later, Sarah was a bit peckish. She had to suffer and hit the Dunkin' drivethrough after her appointment. The mini-meal included a large coffee and the egg and cheese of an egg and cheese sandwich. (Sarah went GF two years ago.)
