Mekinist has to be stored in a fridge, and early in the medication process, Mom and Dad purchased me a micro-fridge so I don't have to navigate my way downstairs for my 4:30 am dose. Navigating tests, doctors' visits, and insurance battles have taken up a lot of my time. I finally plugged the fridge in! While my Fitbit might get fewer steps, this is one thing that has made medicating easier. A bonus-- it has additional cords and adapters, so I can take this on car trips and plug it into auxiliary controls. (This is a feature I will be using for an upcoming visit with Dr. Blakelely in Baltimore next month.)
