On Thursday, I had my quarterly visit to my fancy/award-winning neuro-ophthalmologist at Yale. Dr. Kohli and her team did a thorough workup of my eye health. During my appointment, she concluded, “I feel like I’m on the show Punk’d. Your eyes are so different from our January appointment to now; you don’t look like the same person. Your eyes seem to be improving.” She remained optimistic about the health of my eyes and elaborated they aren’t drifting like they used to. She told me that the prism prescription I’ve had since 2011 (since my brain surgery) is so different, I don’t even need prisms anymore. She suggested readers to help with close up work (reading/computer work) because my long-distance prescription is so strong my eyes will fatigue from working to see up close.

With nothing alarming and things getting back to a normal I haven't known, I’m going to see her in another three to four months.
