We are doing what we can to add joy to this Baltimore trip. Abbey and I took Patrick to two of our favorite eateries— Captain James Crab House (he was not a fan) and Miss Shirley’s, which was a win. Miss Shirley’s has always had a long wait for brunch, but it is well-worth it.

In health news, we spent close to two hours meeting with residents and attendings in the radiology department at Johns Hopkins. We reviewed MRIs and discussed potential care plans. Amazingly, the radiation oncologist said that based on the tumor image, I should be in a wheelchair already, but the tumor is so slow growing , and my brain has compensated and adjusted.

We’re back in the car and driving home. Thursday we are going to Yale and Friday, Memorial Sloan Kettering.
