Well, I was supposed to have a month off of going in the tube and having prednisone so I could tolerate the contrast. Dr. Piotrowski an NF specialist at Memorial Sloan Kettering (MSK), was worried when I told her last week that my left eye had started to drift more.

She said that if there is a change, I should get an MRI to see if there is growth. Dr. Blondin ordered one for me - all the slots were full, but the MRI board convened and made a spot. It was even at the reasonable hour of 11:30! A snafu in the reminder system sent a text after everyone went home saying my appointment was for 10:30! While an hour doesn't seem like a big deal, this is comparable to going "Over the Hill" in rush hour. I called as soon as they opened to see. Yes, 11:30 was correct. Gave me time for a second cup of coffee! Bonus, I even got some time with Dad for the excursion to and around Yale.
