We had the final meeting with Dr. Blondin today before I begin radiation. All questions and concerns were answered, such as

1. What is plan for after radiation? A. We are still working on it.

I have more optimism than I have had, and while it may be foolish to do, that is where I intend to live.

Other checks to the appointment:

1. Application for temporary handicap parking

2. Application for medical marijuana card

3. Stay on MEKinist until start of radiation

4. Get the flu vaccine.

5. Yes! Keep exercising. No weight limit. Don’t fall.

While answers and action are always good, the best part of the meeting was the sister time following.

In my new quest to find and eat amazing food during whatever time I have left, Abbey and I went out for some authentic Korean to Bochon in.New Haven. I studied the menu before going; settled on two entres to try; ate some of both and then finished Japchae. Meal and a half later, I was not over-stuffed. My heart and soul are full from the extra time with Abbey.
