Today was day 1 of 30 for the radiation that will take 6 weeks. Naturally, I didn’t sleep too well last night, so the day took more out me than I would have liked. In some small way the fatigue helped me relax while my head was strapped to the table for the radiation.

In addition to the start of radiation, today also marks an indefinite reprieve of the MEKinist. This means I no longer have to be so vigilant with dinner time so I have two hours of non-eating before food and chemo. We marked the day by dining al fresco until after 8 and then having s’mores.
