First let me start by saying thank you to everyone sending pictures. If you are reading the blogs and have not sent any pictures but wish too we are happy to receive them.
If you haven’t heard from Sarah or it’s taking her weeks to get back to you it’s because she needs so much sleep and her eye sight post chemo is a challenge. She finds talking about her treatments and prognosis to be quite a drain on her energy level, but listening to what you are doing brings her great joy. She is wondering all the time about you (especially her people in LA) and what you are up to. It may feel odd to contact Sarah and tell her all about yourself, but she is missing the regular talk of friendship
and would welcome some normalcy. If you prefer to write her notes or updates here please feel free and I can read them to her.
Sarah’s day looks like this: wake up around 9:30, eat breakfast, sleep until noon, have lunch and then either an activity or a nap, followed by the one she had not done post lunch, then dinner relax and bed. Interspersed in there is time she texts or emails, finds recipes on TikTok and works on writing.
Two days a week the activity is in home PT and every other Thursday an immunotherapy infusion in New Haven. Whenever Sarah has time she is working on trying new recipes of all types, gluten free breads, cranberry salsa with jalapeño and more.
Sarah has an MRI on January 4 and if you are the praying type please send positive prayers her way. We are so thankful for all of you out there reading her blog and sending well wishes.

Sending Love ❤️ and prayers to Sarah and your family. Beautiful pic of Sarah and Andy.
Thank you for the update. Thinking of you all and praying for good news on the 4th. xo
Thank you for this update. And ... whatta beautiful photo! When it's quiet, I wonder how things are going in CT. It's good now to understand Sarah's need for rest thru-out the day. She has many friends and I'm trying t/b respectful and not overwhelm her w/things to read, but to hear she'd like to have our 'day in the life' stories to keep her updated, makes me glad to do that! Strong prayers and love are being sent as you All turn the page from 2021 to 2022.
