We’ll cross that bridge when we come to it.

Sarah and I crossed many literal bridges this past weekend as we made our way to Baltimore and back. It started Wednesday morning when Andy spontaneously threw up on me while getting a piggy back. Patrick's parents came down to help with our kids 2 legged and 4 while I was gone. By Thursday morning I was feeling pretty rough, but we made our way to Baltimore and met with Dr. Blakely Friday. She recommended Sarah try taking her meds at night rather than the morning to see if that helps with the fatigue. Dr. Blakely was thrilled with Sarah’s in person neuro tests and the MRI images. We covered so much information: staying the course, possible future treatments, financial stability during times of great fatigue that make work impossible, Insurance difficulties, gene therapy studies at Johns Hopkins/irradiating mice and body donation for nf1 research way down the road and leaving a legacy, rescue cat troubles (Bob had marked up Sarah’s hands and Dr B also has a rescue kitty that struggles) and more.

These are bridges many of us will cross in the future. Saturday I felt a bit better and drove us home from Baltimore. This is Sarah’s first time taking the chemo at night. I am now home to take care of one sick goat one sick two legged child and Sarah is enjoying chemo at night and the cold I gave her at no additional charge.
More details to follow but we all desperately need sleep.
On a different note all interior paneling in the writing studio is done! Now for the floor.
Thank you for sharing Abbey. ❤️
