Week 5 - Treatment 23

The end is in sight! Twenty-three treatments down, five to go. (If you’re counting, you’re as surprised as I am - the treatment plan is 28 rounds; not 30!) As predicted I am tired. Early to bed and naps then intermittent unpredictable falling. Today the lower part of my left leg went numb. I did not fall. But, the last 1.5 weeks has provided some challenges that were floating out there. I’m prepared for more fatigue and unpredictable unknowns. Once I make it through treatment, I have more planned fatigue etc for the next couple weeks as the radiation continues to work. Follow up MRI scheduled for November 30 and we will know more.
