What's Happening

Sarah has developed a new brain tumor and is starting Mekinist in the next few weeks, a drug her doctor describes as "chemo lite". We hope that the tumor will respond well to Mekinist and shrink. Her team of doctors is very good, they specialize in both neurological tumors and NF1. At this time her prognosis is unknown as the tumor is inoperable because it is located below her mid-brain and close to the pons (brain stem).
